Terms of Use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the PDF Toolkit, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Purpose of the service

The PDF Toolkit provides browser-based utilities for working with PDF and image files, including operations such as merging, splitting, organizing, converting, comparing, searching and checking document structure.

3. Your files and responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you choose to process and for ensuring that you have the legal right to use, modify, convert or share them. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.

4. Local processing

Many tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Browser limitations, device memory, document complexity or third-party library availability may affect performance and results.

5. No guarantee of perfect results

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. PDF conversion, compression, comparison, security checks and other outputs may contain errors or differences from the original document. Always review important files before relying on or distributing them.

6. Security Check limitations

PDF Security Check is a structural and heuristic inspection tool. It is not an antivirus engine, malware sandbox or guarantee that a file is safe. A file that receives a low-risk result may still contain threats that the browser-based scanner cannot detect.

7. PDF Compare limitations

PDF Compare performs a visual comparison. Rendering, font substitution, anti-aliasing or page-size differences may be reported as changes even when the document meaning is substantially the same.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The site may contain advertising and load third-party services or libraries. Their operation is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

9. Prohibited use

You must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, distribute malware, abuse advertising systems, overload the site, or use the toolkit for unlawful activity.

10. Changes and availability

Features may be changed, removed, limited or updated at any time. These Terms may also be updated as the service evolves.
